Stewards outed driver Danny Gallagher for 14 days following an inquiry into the incident that tipped Bill Galway out of his gig.

Gallagher (Richmond Way) pleaded not guilty to causing interference to McGuigans Gold (Galway) in the Prime Television Pace (1940m) won by Glenburn Aussie.

Stewards found Richmond Way shifted out on McGuigans Gold entering the straight forcing that pacer to gallop and shift out, resulting in it locking wheels with Phantom Cash (Greg Tanti).

Gallagher said his horse had overreacted to his efforts to keep him from ducking in.

Chief steward Ron Bottle agreed Richmond Way had contributed to the incident.

``But you were the one with the reins and you can't entirely blame the horse," Bottle said.
